Check out ways to break free of debt if you have a debts problem

If you have a debts problem then you need to take matters into your own hands and admit the problem in the first place. There are many ways that you could take to become debt free. You could look into debt management; you might consider an IVA or you could look into consolidating your loans with a consolidation loan.

These are just some of the ways that you might be able to get out of debt and stay out of debt. If you take an IVA then an insolvency practitioner would work with you and your creditors to work out how much you could afford to repay and then as long as 75% of your creditors agree to this amount and you repay over the term you would have paid off your debts.

If you take a consolidation loan you would combine all existing unsecured loans and credit cards and then take out a loan and pay off all your debts. You then have just one monthly repayment to make which is often smaller and which could be spread out over a longer period of time. This can be one of the less stressful ways of paying off debts with little intervention from others. However always take advice on the most suitable option for your needs.
