New funding available for those in debt in the East of England

December 21st, 2009

If you live in the East of England and you are suffering from debt problems there may be good news, as you may be able to pay off your debts quicker than you had expected. The development agency of the East of England has received 400,000 from its European social fund. According to the Citizens Advice, the money is available to help residents in the area to improve their financial skills. It is hoped that by doing this more people will be able to overcome their debts and pay off money they owe and become debt free.

Attitudes towards money management are one of the keys to overcoming money problems, whether you live in the East or not, and with help from a debt management team you may be able to enter into an IVA or a debt management plan and arrange to clear your debts over time.
If I wanted to clear my debt I could take iva help or advice on a debt management plan, depending on how much money I owed, with a specialist. When entering into either an IVA or debt management plan my debt management team would work alongside me and even arrange the plan on my behalf. Providing I paid the agreed amount each month by the term of the agreement had arrived I would be debt free.

Joblessness and debt a huge fear for many Brits

December 19th, 2009

According to recent research over 69% on Britons would rather take a pay cut to keep their current job rather than risk being made redundant and have to look around for another job. It is thought that a large percentage of the people who fear losing their job have existing debts which they would not be able to maintain if unemployed.

There are however ways to pay off debts using a structured repayment plan. If you wish to write debt off you may look into taking debt advice with a debt management plan or an IVA. Both of these are viable ways to pay off unsecured debts that have occurred through credit cards, unsecured loans, store cards, or home catalogue shopping debts. The most suitable type of plan depends on how much money you owe out to creditors.

With a debt management plan or an IVA set in force with the help of your debt management team, you may be able to pay affordable monthly payments to your team who then distributes it among your creditors. By the time the end of the agreement has been reached, you could have become debt free and with careful money management in the future, you may be able to avoid debt in the future.

More offspring choosing to remain at home to avoid debt problems

December 16th, 2009

It has been revealed that more offspring are choosing to remain at home with their parents. Those in their 20s and 30s are living under their parents roof perhaps to avoid having to pay expenses such as a mortgage or rent. Of course, living with parents mean they also do not have other expenses such as gas, water, electric bills and other payouts associated with owning your own home. This allows those who have student loans or credit card debt the chance to pay it back.

Whether you are a student or otherwise, unsecured debts from such as credit cards, loans, catalogues, and store cards pose a huge worry. If you have built up debt that has spiralled out of control, you may wish to consider turning to a debt management team. One of the ways you may be able to get out of debt is with debt management plans or depending on the level of your debts problem, you might wish to enter into an IVA plan.
A debt management team can advise you on which plan may be the most suitable and you may be able to pay off the money that you owe at a more affordable rate than you were struggling with before the plan

Citizens Advice receive a large handout to help them continue providing debt advice

December 14th, 2009

The Citizens Advice is being given a handout of over 5 million pound by the Government in order for them to be able to continue handing out valuable advice about debt. By March next year it is thought that, they will have been able to help over an extra 330,000 individuals, many of which may have been suffering debt problems and did not know where to turn.

The citizens Advice is just one of the ways that people in debt can get help and advice. Another is by seeking debt help from a debt management team. You may wish to consider taking out a debt management plan or depending on how much you owe you may wish to consider an IVA. If you are considering an IVA, then a debt management team is able to provide you with iva help

Both of these plans can get you out of debt by you paying one sum of money each month, which is agreed when taking out your chosen plan. This money is distributed by your debt management team to those you owe money to and in some cases, you may be able to save when compared to what you were paying out to several creditors each month.

Cost of water may reduce over the next five years

December 12th, 2009

It is thought that over the next five years here in the UK we will be able to take advantage of savings on our water bills. Between 2010 and 2015, it is expected that bills on the average may fall between just 3 and up to as much as 340 before they will then again begin to rise. Even the smallest of savings could mean a great deal to the many that are in debt and are struggling to meet the bills.

If you are worried about any type of debt that is classed as unsecured such as credit card or personal loan then you may want to consider ways to get out of debt. One of the best ways is to take debt advice with a specialist debt management company online. They may be able to suggest an IVA or a debt management plan as ways for you to pay off your existing debts over a period. They often arrange the plan on your behalf with your creditors and distribute the agreed monthly sum of money between your creditors for you. In some cases depending on how much you owed and were paying out each month to individual creditors you may even be able to save money per month whilst clearing your debt.

Fraud and theft on the increase as Christmas approaches

December 10th, 2009

Fraud and theft is on the increase as the run up to Christmas sees many turning to use their credit cards on gifts online. There is always the risk of theft at anytime but during the Christmas rush when stores are full and everyone is pushing and shoving the threat is always a great deal higher. Fraud of course is the new way of stealing and there are thousands of individuals all across the UK, who use the internet to complete their Christmas shopping and who may be at risk of fraud.

Fraud and debt of course only add onto the worries of those who are already struggling to meet the repayments of their credit cards or loans and who worry about losing their jobs or who have to deal with a loss of their job already.

If you have a debts problem then you may want to consider looking into ways to clear debt. For instance if I wanted to clear my debt I might consider taking on a debt management plan after taking specialist advice with a debt management team. I could also consider an IVA as an alternative depending on the amount of debt that I had to repay.

Start saving a year ahead for Christmas 2011

December 8th, 2009

A leading comparison website is suggesting that it may be easier and less stressful if people began saving for now for Christmas 2011. However, for the many that have lost their jobs or who are worried about whether they will remain in work for much longer, this may not be possible and Christmas may prove to be the last straw financially, and which sees them turning for help with debts in 2010.

Already there has been an increase in individuals in the UK looking into ways to write debt off and who have taken the advice of a debt management team. One of the ways you may be able to clear your unsecured debts is with an IVA. This allows you to enter into an agreement by which you pay off your debt over a certain period. If you are considering this option then taking iva help with a specialist is essential.

A debt management team will typically work with you in getting your creditors to agree to the plan. You are then able to pay off one monthly amount, which your team will distribute on your behalf to those you owe money to and you are able to become free of debt when the term of the agreement is reached.

Cut backs by some this Christmas

December 6th, 2009

A recent survey has revealed that some individuals intend to cut back on the amount they will spend over Christmas. Usually grandparents spoil their grandchildren at this time more than at any other time. However many are planning to spend around a fifth less this year than they spent last year. This is thought to be as the result of the depression and many falling into debt

If you have fallen into debt then you may wish to consider looking into entering debt management plans. A debt management plan with the help of a debt management team could be the way for you to pay off your debts over a period time.

Taking debt advice can help you to pay off your existing credit card, unsecured loan debt, and debts incurred through store cards or home shopping catalogues. Depending on the amount you owe you may wish to consider an IVA, which is another viable option for paying off debts that are classed as unsecured. Christmas is another outlay that worries us, however with sensible cutbacks it need not be a time of worry but the time of joy that it is supposed to be.

Ex footballer Vinnie Jones has a tax debt problem

December 4th, 2009

Ex football player and now film star Vinnie Jones has been reported to be in the middle of a tax debt problem to the tune of just over 128,000. The debt is related to Vinnie Jones Enterprises and is thought to be an unpaid tax bill relating to the company. The star claims his dead ex partner owes the government money, as the star has had nothing to do with the company for 3 years and so the debt is in dispute. However if he loses the dispute he could have to pay the debt out of his own pocket. Of course, 120,000 is pocket money with the earnings he makes and it is unlikely that he will struggle to pay off the debt and need to seek debt help.

However, the majority of individuals in the UK who are suffering a debts problem are not as lucky as to be able to pay off their debts in one sum. Luckily, they are able to seek debt help with a debt management team and may be able to enter into an IVA or a debt management plan and pay off their debts over a fixed period. Both of these are viable options to pay off unsecured debts that have accumulated through such as loans, credit cards, store cards or home shopping

Debt solutions may allow people to remain in their homes

December 2nd, 2009

It has been revealed that the number of properties standing empty is in the region of around 300,000. Some of these properties are standing empty due to homeowners falling into debt and mortgage arrears. It is possible that if more individuals in the UK sought debt advice early when it came to their credit card and unsecured loan debts, more individuals will have been able to remain in their homes and pay off their mortgage arrears.

There are ways to get out of debt if you have racked up amounts on credit cards, unsecured loans, store cards or home catalogue shopping. You may wish to take iva help or ask a debt management team about a debt management plan. Either of these are solutions where you pay one monthly sum of money to your debt management team who then spread this out among those you owe money to.

If you are worried about getting in touch with creditors to try to get them to agree to the plan then do not be, as your debt management team will typically contact them on your behalf. Once the plan is in place you continue to pay the sum of money agreed upon each month and at the end of the plan, you will have become debt free.
